I love meeting clients to discuss design ideas and commissions. Sitting down on the studio sofa, face to face, over a cup of tea is a fantastic way to pin down the details of the brief. It is also much easier to accurately size pieces, particularly rings and tight-fitting bracelets. Sapphire and Andalusite Wave Ring
A special one-off piece. Hand-formed sterling silver wave ring with a rare andalusite cushion (oval) and a pink sapphire marquis gemstones.
Inspired by a sole camellia flower appearing on a dark leafed bush in February after months of cold and drizzle. The shape and colour of camellia leaves and petals are matched in reverse by the gemstones.
Birthstone Stacking Rings
A set of six stacking rings to celebrate a special June birthday. Morganite, amethyst, peridot, aquamarine, moonstone and a seawater pearl set in hammer-textured sterling silver.
Moonstone in Rose Gold
Blue flash moonstone set in rose gold open back setting with an elegant asymmetric band.
Galaxies Earrings in 18ct gold
Stunning opalised wood cabochons from Indonesia set in satin finish 18ct yellow gold. Cornetto tops embellished with tiny gold granules and half hidden swing finding.

Sterling silver hand formed waves, set with iridescent Coober Pedy Australian opals, morganite droplets, garnet marquis and forest green chrome diopside squares.

Australian Opal and Demantoid Garnet Earrings
Very special design using the customer’s own gemstones, purchased many years ago on a family trip. This was an 80th birthday gift. Back fastenings are designed to be opened and closed easily by arthritic fingers. The three green garnets on each earring are surrounded by 50 tiny fine silver granules.
Turquoise Earrings
Fabulous spider-web Turquoise cabochons in patinated sterling silver, embellished with fine silver granules. Commissioned to match an existing Lightwave Jewellery Tibetan Turquoise ring.

These stunning sterling silver stacking rings emerged from four stud earrings, which the client no longer wore. We collaborated closely on the design and the placement of sky blue topaz stones.
