This Malachite has fantastic swirling, spotted and linear patterns, ranging from the palest teal green to dark forest hues. Delicate feather pattern is embossed on the back of the silver setting, surrounded by the accordion ring shank.

MALACHITE was favoured by the ancient Egyptians for its stunning vibrant green and protective properties. It was mined in the Sinai Desert as early as 4000 BC. Russian lapidary masters veneered it onto columns and ornaments using the famous Russian Mosaic technique, as seen in the Hermitage and other royal palaces and cathedrals.
